Ophthalmology
The Ophthalmology SIG is dedicated to serving students interested in the field of ophthalmology and the greater community. We provide information and resources in regard to the specialty and the residency application process. We offer volunteer opportunities to promote healthy eye care in our local communities. We help to connect students with ophthalmologists for shadowing, research, and volunteer opportunities.
Our mission is to support aspiring ophthalmologists in their career development through providing local opportunities for mentorship, service learning and volunteering opportunities in the community, and critical information about the residency matching process.
