Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society (RJOS) Club

Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society (RJOS) is a society dedicated to supporting and networking women orthopedic surgeons since 1983 and currently mentors members from medical students to practicing surgeons. The goals of RJOS include the promotion of diversity and inclusion of women from all backgrounds, professional development of members, empowerment of members to participate and lead research projects, and provision of resources to increase leadership in orthopedic surgery. Our chapter aims to uphold those values through networking students to orthopedic surgeons, providing opportunities to attend research and RJOS conferences, and providing workshops to allow students to practice hands-on surgical skills.
